#7 Hikari : That Girl Is A Ship Mechanic?

Back at the ship, an unexpected event occurred. A girl, was watching the ship from afar. Unknown to Eve, the girl made her way onto the ship. She seemed to be angry about something.

“What’s wrong with this ship`s crew? Don’t they have eyes? This ship is badly damaged and yet still they don’t do anything about it!”

Suddenly Eve heard a mumbling voice from the dock. He slowly walked towards that voice to see whose voice it is. He saw a girl walking around at the dock and she is mumbling something.

“Who are you?! What are you doing on my ship?” Eve scolded the girl for trespassing.

“Are you blind? Can’t you see this ship is in wreck due to all of this crazy damages? Besides, don’t you know that with its state , it can’ even stand against a mere sea tornado?” she raised her voice against Eve for scolding her.

“WE know about that and that is why my captain went to town to search for a mechanic……..i think” Eve stuttered

“You think?! I pity this ship because it has a crew like you guys. Can’t help it, let me repair it for you guys, besides, I’m a mechanic after all”

Eve was shocked. He can’t believe that a cute girl like her can be a ship mechanic.

“Deimos Mars.,that’s my name. and you?” she introduced herself to Eve.

“You can call me Eve, but why are you helping us? You don’t even know who we are” Eve asked while the Deimos started her work.

“ Well, aside from my passion about ship, I just don’t want to go to the house of misery.” Said Deimos with a smile.

Meanwhile, the scene at the bar was horrifying. A huge pile of passed out thugs in the bar attracted many attentions. Aero noticed that Sky could have easily killed those thugs but instead, he hit them with the blunt side of the blade. A question left unanswered remained in Aero’s head. The atmosphere was getting silenced until the door was knocked out. It was the owner of the bar. Shocked to see what had happened, the bar owner was enraged.

#6 Hikari : The First Stop

The crew of Hikari set sail for the first time. Aero seemed very pleased that he was a step closer to unveil the secret of the sacred relics that he had been searching for his life. Sky and Eve on the other hand, were not very compatible with each other. 

As Eve was the one to commandeer the ship, Sky asked sarcastically, “ Yo, do you have any idea where we are going?"

               “ Of course I do, it is the nearest town that have one of the relics, according to the rumors at least.” answered Eve. Their arguments were endless.

                “ Let me rephrase, do you have any idea how to get to the place we are going?,”

                “ I am not a sailor. How am I supposed to know how to steer a ship? Just be grateful that we are sailing.”

                “ Be grateful that we are lost?, I am grateful that the ship is not upside down because if it does, I am wiping the floor with your face.”

                “ Do you want to steer the ship? Let’s see if you can do better than me.”

Aero came out of the cabin to stop their quarrel. He suggested the crew to hit land. He wanted to find a navigator before Sky and Eve brought the ship apart.

Their first stop after sailing was a small town near the harbor. Sky and Aero went to get some idea of the place and the perfect place would be a bar. Eve stayed on the ship to rest off exhaustion.

Sky and Aero entered the only to be welcomed by local thugs glaring at them. Sky sinisterly grinned at them, refused to lose in glaring fight. He then took a seat followed by Aero. They ignored the thugs. After some moments, a waitress came to their table. A young beautiful one indeed. She came to take their orders. She asked with a cheerful smile but Aero noticed her fake smile and knew that she tried her hardest to put a smile on her face. Sky ordered some meat and Aero did not order anything as he was looking for someone that might know of this place in the bar.

                As the waitress was making her way into the kitchen, she was getting picked on by several thugs. They were holding her hands, forcing her to sit and eat with them. They wanted to be served by the waitress. As she was struggling to escape, a thug raised his hand to hit her. In a single flash, Sky stopped the thug by pointing his blade at his throat, a millimeter away from cutting his throat.

                Realizing a death threat, all the thugs stood up and drew weapons. All their focus remained on Sky. Some of them had knives and bats with them while Sky stood alone with a single blade in his hand. The waitress saw her chances and managed to get way. Aero just looked at the scene with a absolute prediction of what would happen.

Cornetto Girl (Part 2)

“It will not be called a treat if you pay me back”

                I could not sense any reaction from her. I turned my back at her and continued my way back to class, with a really slow pace. I was hoping for her to walk with me. Fortunately, she did. I could not be happier that day. Not just I had bought her the Cornetto ice cream, but I walked with the same rhythm as her. Along the way back to class, we spent the entire time talking to each other. It was the first conversation I had with her. At last, I could make her smile. She was so charming that I would love to see her smile every day.

                From that historical moment onwards, we grew up closer. We spent the most time together. I could really felt something different about her. Everyone was envious of me. At first, I took it as nothing big. However, my closeness with May had sparked the flare of jealousy in someone’s heart. It was Sarah. Sarah was my childhood friend, who I grew up with. The way we were at that time, I could feel nothing bloomed beyond friendship. Unfortunately, I could not say the same thing for her.

                At one fateful night, May called me and asked for my time. Her stuttered voice told me that something was wrong with her. We promised to meet at the park. I immediately dashed to the park knowing the cloudy and windy cloud promised rain. I soon found her sitting by the swings. I was right. She really had some problems. I tried to comfort her and gave her some encouragement. Finally, I could see her face enbrightenned.

                Unintentionally, I looked away just to find someone had been stalking us. Sarah had been watching us. She could have misunderstood the situation. As I was calling her, she turned back and started running. To chase Sarah or to stay with May. It was the hardest decision yet in my life, when suddenly, I was called by May. She nodded. From that, I knew she was telling me to go after Sarah. I wasted no time and started running full speed.

It was the fastest run I had. I only took a short time to catch up to her. I appeared in front of her, holding out my arm and stopping her in her track. The rain fell down. I caught some breaths before I went to explain everything to her.

“Can’t you see? Our friendship is just like the starlight. I know you could not see it,

 neither do I. But I know, even if it is shrouded by cloud, the starlight is still there.

 Because I believe, the starlight will never fade. Just like our friendship”

                I left her speechless. She wiped her face and looked at the sky. And she smiled. She took a few moment and turn her face at me. She then walked passed me. For some reasons, I knew she understood what had and what will happen. After disappearing from sight, May came to me. She asked me what had happened. I just smiled and said,

“All is well”

Cornetto Girl (Part 1)

                It was raining. Since the morning, the skies had been tearing rains. I would not say that I hate rain, but I would be taken back in my memories when I looked at the rain. Never know why, I was just automatically been taken back in my past. Although, I would smile by myself every time I recalled the incident. That incident taught me the true meaning about love and friendship. That was the incident that turned my life around.

                It all started when I was in my last year of high school. There was one beautiful classmate of mine. With her black-gem eyes, soft angelic voices, and pure innocent smiles, she was the epitome of beauty. She was perfect, except for one flaw in her characters. She was extremely timid. I had never seen her talking to the boys in my class. It would be a miracle to just to have a conversation with her. She, the one who conquered my heart was named May.

                Although many attempts to get to know her better failed, I was given a new hope that might just work. I found out about her favourite food of all. It was Cornetto ice cream. Unknown to me, it was just a Cornetto ice cream that was our token of affection and what bounded us together. It happened when I least expected it.

                On one fine day, I found myself in the canteen, confronting the fridge supposedly containing Cornetto ice cream. Shocked, I felt when all that was left for that day was just 2 more Cornetto ice cream. For some unexplainable reasons, I bought both the Cornetto ice creams. Just a few moments passed and I could feel the presence of the princess of my heart. She was dumbfounded the see there was no more of her favourite ice cream left available.

                I could not turn my head to her as I was too shaken up. I could not think of anything. But somehow I knew she would have made her sad but cute face. Fate had chosen the perfect timing to jump in. Instinctively, I held out my left arm holding a Cornetto ice cream. I could not turn my head to her and could not say anything as I was murmuring prays. I really hoped for her to just take the ice cream. I repeated the same thing all over.

                Suddenly, I could not feel the pressure of holding the ice cream anymore. Miraculously, she took the Cornetto ice cream. I was overjoyed that I felt like jumping around. However, composing a cool attitude, I left her with no words. I left the canteen, heading towards the hallway but with a slow pace. After a few steps, my name was called. It was from May for the first time. I was electrified by the shocking truth. She actually called my name. She walked towards me and held out some money to repay me for the ice cream. Without even thinking, I said something to send her flying..

#5 Hikari : Sailors of The Sea,Hikari

Aero seemed to be pleased, and he turned his attention to Eve, saying "you on the other hand, just a leftover spoilt brat. you have no use of me. However, if you wish to tag along, we could use a little fund"

Eve grinned at Aero and left the scene, saying that he would be back with money. Eve decided to sell his Hollow Robe which worth a lot, and could give him a spot in Aero's crew. However, he was deceived. Some pirates pretended to be a ante shopper. Realising what had really happened, Eve chased the pirates down before they could sail the sea.

Back at the bar where Sky and Aero was talking, a wounded traveller cried for help. "Anybody! Please help my daughter! She was kidnapped by the pirates! Please, anybody!" Without having time to think Sky dashed outside, making his way to the port. He climbed his way up the roof and ran on top of the roof. Looking from afar, he saw Eve running towards the port. Not just Eve, he saw a pirate ship could be the pirates' belonging.

They met each other in front of the ship. Something felt weird about the ship. It was too quiet. Sky and Eve jumped onto the deck surpised to see it was already trashed. It was like a tornado had ripped the place apart. Only what remained were bodies and debries. Suddenly, they heard a cry from a girl.She was shaking, terrified with what had happened.
"What have happened here?" Eve asked in curiorisity. 
"A man.......a man with a red cross on his back,.....came and wipe all the pirates who kidnap me.He takes all their money." the girl stuttered.
"A man with a red cross on his back? Who the heck is he?" Eve's question was left unanswered.

"Crescent Sader!" Aero came to the ship with the traveller. He continued ,"the man with a red cross on his back is named Crescent Sader, a rival to the Blackbeard. He is said to be equally strong with Blackbeard himself."
"Who cares who he is! I'll take on whoever mess with my money myself." Eve's eyes were burning with revenge.
Aero looked at Eve and thought about something.

"Dear Evvy, you can come with us. if you are wondering why, it is because  i like the looks on your eyes. Very well, you make it to the crew. We'll set sail as soon as possible. We'll use this ship. A few touch and the ship is good to go. Gentlemen, we are now the sailors of the sea!" Aero sounded proudly.
"Wait! Who are we going as?" Sky suddenly jump inbetween Aero's words.
Aero silenced for a momment, lift his head towards the sky and said,"we are .....HIKARI"

#4 Hikari : Wanna Get The Relics?

 “I heard you chatted about the miraculous relics? You seem so interested with the remains of ancient. Hmmm, just forget it at all.”
Both Eve and Sky shocked,”What are you trying to say?” replied Eve spontaneously. 
“Many people who pursue them, but most of them were killed by the ruthless and fearsome pirates, Blackbeard. They control all activities at the sea such that they became known as the caesarian marine.” Says the strangers again.

“Does this means that Blackbeard had found all the ancients?” Eve ask in amazement meanwhile Sky just glared at them. “Hmmm, not yet,.they only have the Diamond Armor. Even a strong pirates like Blackbeard can`t have it all,.do you think scum like you can even see a single relics with your own eyes? ” said the stranger to them,heartless.

They were all silent for a while. Perchance due to their passion of the relics make they stared each other. “I guess you knew much about the these relics,but why you don’t take any action?” Sky starts the conversation “As I told ye, it’s not a gladiator games thereto I have my own reasons” said the strangers while his hand pull out the chair for him to seat.

“Is it fund you need?What types of relief fund do you want? I can get everything in the blink of an eye! But,you must take us with ye!” Emphatically answer from Eve.“Hold it right there you isolated brat, do you have a rusty memory or what? Remember you are a lonely arctic fox now, have nothing except  vengeance” said Sky in sound of mock.“Lonely arctic fox???Darn...it’s seem that i have to toll my ‘Hallow Robe’ ” musing Eve in his brain power.

The high lust of Eve to pay for what his father gave him led the beloved ‘Hallow Robe’ from his ancestry was pawned as a first step before they start ante shipping which is filled with many challenges and obstacles. Rumored that the legacy was worth as expensive as sumptuous in the sky has gone easily because of the gluttony of unmatured son.
   
"By the way,what is your.." before Sky finished his words,the strangers intercept his words,"Aero,.that is my name. I am an archeologist". Aero said with a smile on his face.
" I'd really wanted to have the relics for my own and i could use couples of hands. Perhaps, the Ghost of Nuvema can be a useful tool for me?" Aero spoke while staring at Sky.

"Why should i follow you?", Sky felt insulted as to be spoken with such manner by Aero.
"it's not really you following me, let's just say you tag along. well, you did say you searched for the relics too, am i wrong? Maybe something in trade for your skill and abilities?" Aero tried to negotiate with Sky. Sky, with a smile on his face, answered, "fair enough"
